Since the mid-’80s, Spike Lee has been making commercials for Nike and Michael Jordan‘s Air Jordan sneakers. In fact, one of the director’s most iconic characters, Mars Blackmon from “She’s Gotta Have It,” has appeared in many commercials for the sports apparel company. And since the mid-2000s, Jordan Brand has paid tribute to Spike Lee with his own pair of sneakers with the Jordan Spiz’ike.
$165
The special sneakers are a blend of various elements from Air Jordan III, IV, V, VI, IX and XX with a wide range of colorways and limited-edition drops. For the 20th anniversary of the first pair and the 30th anniversary of the classic movie “Space Jam,” Nike has released the Jordan Spiz’ike Low “Jam Central” sneakers colorway for a new generation of fans.
