M&M Releases ‘Love Island’-Themed Candy, Printed With Lines ‘Bombshell Arrives,’ ‘Got a Text’ and More

M&Ms have entered the villa. The long-established candy brand is partnering with “Love Island USA” as the exclusive confectionery partner for the show’s eighth season.
To celebrate the collaboration, M&M’s is releasing a limited-edition play-along pack, containing game boards and multicolored, custom candy printed with some of the show’s recurring one-liners and iconic moments, including “bombshell arrives,” “got a text,” “early days,” “pull for a chat,” “casa amor” and girl’s girl,” among others. The packs will be available exclusively on MMS.com beginning June 2, and will retail for $15.99 while supplies last.

To play along at home, viewers can randomly select 10 M&M’s and place them on their game boards. When someone’s piece(es) of candy matches the moment on TV, the player removes the candy from their board. The first person to clear all ten spots — or have the fewest left at the end of the episode — wins.
Little is known about the upcoming season, but tensions are already high after “Love Island USA” shared an Instagram post saying “The Villa runs on good vibes, and so does this community.” The post goes on to remind fans, “everyone deserves to feel safe and respected. This is a space for fun, not negativity – so keep it kind, keep it positive, and remember: this is LOVE island!”
Season 7, which aired last summer, was riddled with controversies and saw the removal of two contestants following the resurfacing of racially insensitive posts. Despite the drama, the season became Peacock’s most-watched streaming original TV season, growing its year-to-year viewership by 150%.
Whether you’re a returning fan or tuning in for the first time, the M&M’s game pack will allow you to play along at home for the full “Love Island” experience — only with lower stakes (and more treats).
