“Heated Rivalry” breakout Hudson Williams returns in his first major TV performance this week with “Yaga.”
The supernatural thriller premieres exclusively in the U.S. on AMC+ on Friday, Oct. 23, with its first two episodes available to stream immediately. New episodes will arrive every Friday, concluding with a two-episode season finale on Nov. 27.
The best way to stream “Yaga” is by adding AMC+ to an existing Prime Video account. The streamer is also available through its own standalone subscription service, in addition to add-on options on platforms such as Apple TV, Sling TV and DirecTV.

The eight-episode series puts a contemporary spin on the centuries-old Slavic legend of Baba Yaga, with a cast that also includes “Schitt’s Creek” star Noah Reid, “The Matrix” actress Carrie-Anne Moss and Clark Backo.
Set in the fictional coastal town of Whittock, “Yaga” follows private investigator Rapp (Reid), who arrives to investigate Henry’s disappearance. His search puts him in the orbit of a wary local detective, Carson (Backo), and Katherine (Moss), a charismatic university professor whose connections to the missing man becomes central to the unfolding investigation.
The series is adapted from Kat Sandler’s 2019 stage play of the same name, with Sandler returning as writer, showrunner and executive producer. Moss also serves as an executive producer. The show’s trailer, appropriately enough for its Halloween-season debut, features Alanis Morissette’s eerie rendition of Donovan’s “Season of the Witch.”
Stream “Yaga” starting Friday, Oct. 23 here.
