The pop star has officially returned to Malibu. Following its premiere Monday night, “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special” is officially available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu in the U.S., with international availability on Disney+.
The best way for both domestic and international viewers to tune into the special is with the Disney+ Hulu bundle, which is down to $4.99/month for 3 months through March 24.

The special sees Miley Cyrus visiting the iconic Malibu home set — including Hannah’s iconic rotating closet — where viewers watched her grow up. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Hannah Montana show without any performances. The setlist, comprised of songs “This Is The Life,” “The Climb,” “The Best of Both Worlds” and a never-before-heard original song, takes the audience back to the good old days. Hosted by Alex Cooper, several guests also make their way into the studio to join in on the celebration, including Billy Ray Cyrus, Chappell Roan and Selena Gomez, who reprised her own Disney role as Alex Russo of “Wizards of Waverly Place” in 2024.
“You created culture, babe,” Gomez says to Cyrus in a teaser for the episode. “You too,” Cyrus replies.
When asked about a reboot of the show during last night’s premiere, Cyrus replied, “Girl, I’m already tired. This has already been a lot.” Hannah Montana may not be returning to the screen anytime soon, but the special provides enough nostalgia to hold us over.
