In 2026, Nintendo is beefing up its titles for the Nintendo Switch 2 with more games, like “Metroid Prime 4: Beyond,” “Mario Kart World,” “Kirby Air Riders,” “Donkey Kong Bananza,” “Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment” and others. And now, the gaming company just dropped a new title to play that revisits a fan-favorite franchise, “Mario Tennis.”
Enter “Mario Tennis Fever” for Nintendo Switch 2, which is the first new “Mario Tennis” game for a home console since 2018’s “Mario Tennis Aces” for the original Nintendo Switch.

The new game is available for purchase for $69 on Amazon, starting on Thursday, Feb. 12.
“Mario Tennis Fever” is an inventive sports party game that really takes advantage of the new Joy-Con 2 hardware, especially with the console’s enhanced and upgraded graphics, and online and local multiplayer capacities with up to four players. The game is pure chaos in the best possible way, as it recaptures the fun that the franchise promises, but lacked with the last entries.
