DIRECTV continues to make moves to become a one-stop-shop for streaming, with a new offer that includes 12 months of Netflix at no extra cost (after that, it renews at its regular price unless you cancel it).^
GET DIRECTV ‘NETFLIX on us’ DEAL
The offer is open to new qualifying DIRECTV subscribers who get a Gemini streaming device and who are signed up for one of the streamer’s popular “Genre Packs,” which offer curated live television channels based on your viewing interests and preferences.

The “MyEntertainment Genre Pack,” for example, gets subscribers access to more than 60 live television channels that they can stream online without cable, including AMC, Bravo, E!, FX and more, for just $42.99/month ($52.99/mo. with Gemini device).
The MyEntertainment Genre Pack also includes access to HBO Max, Disney+, Hulu and AMC+ subscriptions for no additional charge. The addition of a Netflix subscription for 12 months at no extra cost means DIRECTV Genre Pack subscribers will now have access to most of the leading streaming services included in their one monthly price – a value of more than $48 each month and a whopping $580 a year versus paying for everything separately.
The new Netflix deal requires a DIRECTV Genre Pack subscription along with the lease of a DIRECTV Gemini device. The device lets you access all your live TV channels and streaming apps in one place*, while being able to easily find your favorite shows and look up content using the included voice remote. You also get access to DIRECTV’s “MultiView” feature, which lets you watch up to four channels simultaneously on one TV screen**.
