Sports fans won’t have to rely on cable anymore to catch the big games and tournaments this fall, as streaming service DIRECTV launches a new promo for cord cutters looking to take in the action.

DIRECTV has dropped the price of its MySports Genre Pack down to $49.99 for your first month of service (regularly $64.99/month). That’s a one-time savings of 23% off.

The MySports Genre Pack offers more than 20 live sports and broadcast networks that you can stream online, including ESPN, ESPN2, FS1, TBS and TNT. Subscribers also get access to premium sports channels like MLB Network, NFL Network, NBA TV, and Tennis Channel. Those channels are not typically included in streaming packages and are often priced as add-ons, so this DIRECTV deal is worth taking advantage of.

Even better: DIRECTV’s MySports Genre Pack also includes a full subscription ESPN Unlimited Plan, the sporting network’s standalone streaming service. Pricing for ESPN Unlimited Plan — which offers live sports, documentaries and specials – normally runs $29.99/month on its own, but DIRECTV subscribers can get the streaming app included in their sports package.

In addition to the sports channels, the package also includes a live feed of the ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC local affiliates in your region (where available). The new DIRECTV promo gets you access to the MySports Genre Pack for just $49.99 for your first month of service. Pricing renews at the $64.99/month standard rate following your first 30 days (and after your free five-day trial).
